Grant Description

On December 10, 2014 the Chinese embassy in Tajikistan assisted in the opening of the "Guldasta" sewing center in teh Varzob District, located 25 km north of Tajikistan's capital.

Zhao Syanzhun, wife of the Chinese Ambassador participated in the opening ceremony along with the chairman of the Varzob district and a representative from the People's Democratic Party. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
