Grant Description

In 2011, the Government of Pakistan’s State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping asked the Chinese Government to help it establish a Next-Generation Geodetic Datum of Pakistan.

This GIS mapping and surveying project is expected to encourage research and innovation in the areas of economy and society and its linkages would promote cooperation between science and technology, public institutions and government agencies. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
