Grant Description

On October 5, 2004, Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan granted office equipment, cultural and athletic equipment (around USD 1 million) to Afghanistan.

The grant includes 400 computers, 300 printers, 70 copiers, televisions, bicycles, footballs, basketballs, and some Sports apparels, etc. The delivery ceremony is held in Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
