Grant Description

In 2016, during the scholarship ceremony, Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka donated 2 million rupees to the Sri Lanka Ministry of Education for the establishment of the “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” to fund 54 outstanding undergraduates in Sri Lankan universities this year. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
