Grant Description

China Exim Bank loans Sri Lanka 13B Rs. for Lower Mulwathu Oya reservoir project In 2016, Exim Bank of China agreed to provide a 13 billion Rs. loan for the Lower Mulwathu Oya Multi Sector Development Project in the Anuradhapura and Vavuniya Districts. 13,215 ha of lands will be irrigated benefiting 10,000 farm families.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
