Grant Description

Following a landslide in May 2016 in Sri Lanka, the Government of the People's Republic of China (through its embassy in Sri Lanka) donated US$1.5 million to provide for emergency assistance. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
