Grant Description

In 2017, the Chinese Government and the Government of Afghanistan signed an MOU related to the National Vocational and Technical College Project. The MoU was signed by the Afghan Education Minister and the Economic Attaché for the Embassy of China in Kabul.

The Bureau for International Economic Cooperation within China’s Ministry of Commerce committed RMB 180 million of grant funding for this project. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
