Grant Description

On July 19th, 2016, Sun Weidong, the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, signed an agreement with the Pakistani Prime Minister’s National Historical and Cultural Heritage Consultant to support the installation of a new chandelier for the Mazar-e-Quaid, the Mausoleum of Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in Karachi, Pakistan to replace the one given by the Chinese government 46-years ago.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
