Grant Description

On July 9, 2014, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Sun Weidong, presented a donation of 5 million Pakistani Rupees to a Pakistani official on behalf of the Chinese embassy for the resettlement of internal displaced persons in Pakistan.

The check was accepted by Abdul Qadir Baloch, minister of Pakistan's Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) for the resettlement of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from North Waziristan Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
