Grant Description
China funds construction of Central Expressway - Phase I This project is an umbrella project for the Chinese construction and funding of the Central Expressway (formerly known as the Northern Expressway Project).
According to Performance of Priority Projects (as of 31 December 2017), published by the Department of Project Management and Monitoring Ministry of Development Assignments, the overall project cost will be Rs. 618.170 billion provided by the Exim Bank of China and a local bank. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
