Grant Description

On April 28, 2016, the Chinese government provided a $550,000 grant handover ceremony to the South Sudan Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) at the CTSAMM headquarters in Juba. This grant is intended to ease the peace negotiation process. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
