Grant Description

On July 19, 2016, for International Mandela Day, the Chinese Embassy of South Africa presented books and audio-visual materials introducing Chinese history and culture to the Brooklyn Library in South Africa. The Chinese Embassy Culture Counselor attended the book-giving ceremony on behalf of the embassy.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
