Grant Description

In 2016, the Pakistan-China Joint Cooperation Committee approved the Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob project.

According to the express tribune report, the western route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), including the Khan-Zhob project, is going to be completed by the end of 2018 along with other 11 mega projects which were initiated in 2015-16. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
