Grant Description

In September 2016, representatives of the Chinese government and the UN World Food Program (WFP) signed the agreement by which China provided $8 million aid to Ethiopia to relieve the food crisis in that country. In November 2017, Ethiopia representative in UN World Food Program thanked China for the support.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
