Grant Description

In 2015, Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Sports, Alupo presented a draft proposal seeking a grant of Uganda Shilling 30.8b from the Chinese government to facilitate the introduction of the Chinese language into Uganda’s education system at secondary level. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
