Grant Description

In June 2016, a Confucius Institute was inaugurated at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to strengthen the bond between Ghana and China through education and cultural exchanges.

The UCC Branch, initiated in 2008, is being hosted in partnership with the Hunan City University, and it is the second to be established in the country, after that of the University of Ghana, Legon. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
