China Invites developing country officials to Bamboo and Rattan Standards Seminar for Developing Countries in 2016

In 2016, China invited 43 participants from 11 developing countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbeans to the Bamboo and Rattan Standards Seminar for Developing Countries in Beijing.

The participants will learn about bamboo and rattan standards, as well as industrial modes and be prepared to develop the bamboo and rattan industry upon their return. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
