Grant Description

In 2008, a Confucius Institute was established at the Bishkek Humanities University with the help of Xinjiang University. The Institute began teaching students the same year. The Confucius Institute is responsible for teaching Chinese and Chinese culture to Kyrgyz students. The opening date for the Confucius Institution was on June 15, 2008.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
