The MoU was signed by the Railway Board of India Arunendra Kumar and chief of China's National Railway Administration, Lu Dongfu along with 12 other agreements.

This project is linked to Record ID#42676, the training of 100 Indian personnel for heavy haul transportation, which was committed to during the same visit. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
