Grant Description

In 2005, China agreed to finance the Kandep Agriculture Station and Wheat Technical Cooperation Project in the Kandep District, Enga Province, Papua New Guinea. The project was planned for 2007 to 2012. According to the PNG Treasury source, the total grant was for 1.5 million Kina. The Papua New Guinea government also provided 43,000 Kina.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
