Grant Description

China EXIM Bank pledges USD 10 million loan for trade financing On the 15 April, 2004, the Export-Import Bank of China offered to lend the International Bank of Azerbaijan up to USD 10 million for 3-4-years for trade financing.

Azer News reports that a delegation of the Export-Import Bank of China was expected to come to Baku in March to discuss the proposition, but did not arrive. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
