Grant Description

On December 28, 2012, China agreed to give Armenia a grant of 70 million yuan (11.2 million U.S. dollars) as part of an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA).

The agreement was signed between the Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Manassarian, and the Chinese Charge d'Affaires, Chao Mingwen. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
