Grant Description

On March 21, 2012, the governments of China and Antigua and Barbuda signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA) granting $30 million RMB for the construction of the Five Islands Secondary School.

They also signed three other ETCAs, one of which was a $6.4 million RMB grant for maintenance of the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium (See: Record ID#39786). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
