Grant Description

On August 6, 2006, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing visited Papua New Guinea and signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation agreement to provide special cash assistance to Papua New Royal Police Department for purchase of communications equipment and vehicles, for the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
