Grant Description

On January 14, 2005 Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit received 600,000 US dollars worth of commodities from the Chinese government on behalf of the government of Dominica. At a short ceremony at the Financial Centre Prime Minister Skerrit and Chinese ambassador, Mr Ye Dabo, meet.

The commodities include state-of-the-art computers and printers, photocopiers, radios, digital cameras, DVD players, projectors, sports equipment and office stationery. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
