Grant Description

Fiji has been sending members of its civil service to China’s Executive Leadership Academy of Pudong (CELAP), China's premier executive leadership training academy in Shanghai, China, to undergo short-term training. This is at the request of the Fijian Government. In 2013, it requested training for 300 officials.

This request was granted. Fijian officials will be sent over in batches of 25 for the next five years. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
