Grant Description

On May 3, 2013, the Chinese Government donated 20 luxury left-hand drive Hongqi vehicles worth RMB 12 million for the Group of 77 High Level Panel of Eminent Personalities of the South Summit hosted by Fiji from May 7 to 9, 2013.

The cars were typically only used by Chinese government officials in China but served as the means of transportation for many world leaders at the summit. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
