Grant Description

In August 2012 China's ambassador to Papua New Guinea donated medical equipment and medications to Port Moresby General Hospital. The value of this donation is unknown.

This is one of the annual donations made to this hospital by the Chinese government since an agreement for the provision of Chinese medical teams in 2002. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
