Chinese Government provides training for 100 Fijian government officials in 2009

On December 9, 2009, it was reported that eight Fiji government officials from various government departments will travel to China in the next few weeks to enhance their areas of expertise for the benefit of the Pacific island nation. The program was funded by assistance from the Chinese government.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
