Grant Description

On August 14, 2006, the Chinese community in PNG donated two suction machines for heart surgery to Port Moresby General Hospital. The value of these machines was 2,400 PGK .

The equipment was used in a series of heart surgeries performed through the Operation Open Heart Program at Port Moresby. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
