Grant Description

In July 2005, during the official tour of PNG Foreign Affairs and Immigration Minister Sir Rabbie Namaliu in China, Assistant Minister of Commerce Chen Jian signed letters of exchange for a feasibility study for Wewak sports stadium. China provided $60,000 USD to finance the feasibility study. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
