China sends 103 volunteer teachers to Indonesia

In 2013, China sent 103 volunteer teachers for a teaching assignment in Indonesia for the academic year 2013/2014.

According to the agreement signed by the Chinese Education Sector and Indonesia, China Hanban dispatched volunteer Chinese teachers to help local Chinese teaching to Indonesia each year.

For the academic year of 2013-2014, Hanban had sent a total of 103 primary and secondary schools all over Indonesia to teach the Chinese language and ease the shortage of local Chinese language teachers, so as to improve the level of Chinese teaching in Indonesia contributed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
