Grant Description

In October 2011, China donated 30 million RMB ($4.7 million USD) in flood relief supplies to Thailand. The donation was received on October 21 2011.

The aid package was made up of 20,000 long-sleeve shirts, 1300 tents, 30 speed boats, 30 sets of water-purifying equipment and 8,000 sandbags. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
