China provides donation of typhoon relief goods worth RMB 5 million yuan to Philippines in 2006

On November 14, 2006, the Chinese government donated typhoon relief goods, including 930 tents, 3,000 mattresses, 3,000 sheets, and 3,000 blankets, to the Philippines to help the victims of Typhoon Durian.

According to "China Provides Five Million RMB Yuan Humanitarian Aid For Philippine Typhoon Victims," the goods were worth RMB 5 million. This project is completed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
