Grant Description

The Chinese Govenrment (Hebei Province) has been sending medical teams to Nepal every two years since 1999. The 5th medical team consisting of 18 people arrived in Nepal on February 25, 2008. The team was stationed at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. It completed its work on March 6, 2010, at which point the 6th medical team began its work (see Record ID#38399).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
