Grant Description

On 12 May 2015, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake aftershock hit Nepal.

Just two days later on 14 May, a spokesman from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce told reporters that multiple Chinese government departments worked together to compile a disaster relief package worth 80 million RMB for Nepal. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
