Grant Description

On 25 April 2015, a massive earthquake hit Nepal.

On 29 April, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal posted a press release announcing that the Chinese government had decided to provide a second aid package to Nepal for disaster relief efforts. This donation was worth 40 million RMB. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
