Grant Description

On February 1, 2008, the Chinese Embassy and the Indonesian Ministry of Health conducted a anti-malaria drugs handover ceremony in the Indonesia Ministry of Health Disease Control and Environmental Health Office.

These anti-malaria drugs are worth 3 million Yuan and arrived in Jakarta in two batches, one in October 2007 and the second in January 2008.

The Indonesian ministry thanked the Chinese government and people for their support for the fight against malaria in Indonesia. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
