Grant Description

On 9 October 2011, China's Economic and Commercial Counselor and the Afghan Minister of Public Works Ahmed signed a contract for China to assist Afghanistan's Ministry of Public Works in the form of office equipment. Based on the agreement, the office equipment will be delivered by the end of December 2011.

The equipment was financed by the Chinese government. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
