Grant Description

On October 22, 2004, China's Ambassador to Papua New Guinea Li Zhengjun delivered K200,000 worth of medical instruments and drugs to the Port Moresby General Hospital on behalf of the Chinese government.

The donation was the fourth to be made since the medical team arrived in October 2002 and is also in compliance with the agreement signed between PNG and China on the medical program. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
