Grant Description
On December 17, 2010, China committed to grant RMB 200 million to Pakistan for agriculture related projects.
The deal took the form of an Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation (ETCA) between Government of Pakistan and Government of China inked by Minister of Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and Chinese Minister and China International Trade Representative Gao Hucheng. The exact sub-projects are not known.
Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
