China donates third batch of humanitarian aid worth 60 million RMB to Pakistan following the July 2010 floods (linked to Record ID#s #36722, #38551, #36809)

In late July 2010, Pakistan experienced the worst floods in 80-years due to heavy monsoon rains and strong winds.

On 25 August 2010, Chinese Ministry of Commerce official Chong Quan met with the Pakistani Ambassador to China Masood Khan and pledged a third batch of humanitarian aid worth 60 million RMB for flood relief efforts. This was the fourth donation of four. The other three are captured in Record ID#38551, #36809, and #36801.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
