Grant Description

In late July 2010, Pakistan experienced the worst floods in 80-years due to heavy monsoon rains and strong winds.

On August 1, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced that they would donate a batch of humanitarian aid worth 10 million RMB to Pakistan for flood relief efforts. This was the first donation of four. The other three are captured in Record ID#38551, #36809, and #36801. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
