Grant Description

China Loans $80 Million to Bolivia for Airplanes In 2014, China participated in the 50th anniversary summit of the G77 hosted in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

Vice Chairman of China's National People's Congress, Chen Zhu, met with Bolivian President Morales ahead of the summit opening. He pledged an $80 million loan to modernize Bolivian airline BoA and to purchase 4 new aircraft. Loan details are not available.
