Grant Description
China Eximbank pledges loan for Zagora-Gassay Road Project On January 22, 2014, the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) signed agreements for the design and construction of three road projects.
Under one of the agreements, a 44 km road project -- called the Zagora-Gassay road project -- will be undertaken link the towns of Mota, Wereta and Woldia in Amhara State. It will also have a seven meter wide divider with a 3.5 meter wide space for parking on the left side. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
