Grant Description
On August 8, 2011, the Chinese government signed letters of exchange for the donation of 15 water well drilling equipment trucks and accessories, including 20 containers and 6 air compressors, worth a total of 49 million RMB.
The donation occurred through the framework of two Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements (ETCAs), one signed December 30, 2009 and the other signed December 30, 2010, which provided grants ("donaciones no reembolsables"). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
