Chinese Government provides RMB 5 million grant to the Government of Venezuela for unspecified purposes

In 2004, the Chinese Government and the Government of Venezuela signed an exchange of notes related to the provision of an RMB 5 million grant.

The proceeds from the RMB 5 million grant grant agreement were to be used for the supply of goods or projects to be determined at a later date. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
