Grant Description

In April 2008, China's CNOOC held the "Sending Fortune with Fuma" ceremony, in which it donated school supplies including desks, chairs, and other study materials to 2 elementary schools in Kenya. CNOOC is also helping to rehabilitate the schools and helping to drill 2 wells for local residents. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
