Grant Description

On December 24, 2003, China donated a check of 5.5 million PHP, or $100,000 USD, to the Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs.

This grant was handed over by Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Wang Chungui to Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Delia Albert in Manila. The donation was intended to aid victims of recent landslides and floods in the Philippines. This project is completed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
