Grant Description

In 2008, the Chinese Government donated $20,000 worth of medicines to Nepal's B. P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zheng Xianglin handed over the medicine to the hospital on behalf of the Chinese government. In February 2000, an exchange of letter concerning technical aid to the B. P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital were exchanged. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
